My father died suddenly, he had physical custody of me and my two younger brothers, our mother has never been involved in our life, we barley know who she is other than the fact that she has a serious alcohol and anger problem. She was never proven unfit by a court, but she never was given over night visitation with us children. Now that I am 18 my grandmother and I are petitioning the court for custody of my two younger brothers. The virginia law says that in the event of the custodial parents death, the other parent will get custody of the children unless proven unfit. Which has never happened.
Now the courts are trying to give my two younger brothers to a woman whom they barley even know and expect them to live a healthy and stable life. Does the childrens comfort even matter to a court? I mean they are being taken away from the only family they've ever known in their life. Is the government allowed to do this??

Parental Alienation and Parental Alienation Syndrome ( P.A.S. ),
is a serious form of child abuse, it falls under the definition of emotional
abuse, and this form of child abuse is widely recognized by all mental
health professionals.

At Goldberg & Associates www.ParentalAlienation.Ca
we help family law attorneys to rescue children from an abusing
parent.

In Parental Alienation Child Abuse, a custodial parent often makes
false allegations of abuse against the non-custodial parent ( this is
a common act of behavior to obstruct visitation and deflect attention
away from the " real abuser ". )

If you are a mother or father that has a child suffering with this form
of child abuse contact us for help at TEL: 905-481-0367 and ask for

I was married 24yrs to a GM hourly worker. There was no QDRO drafted during the divorce. My divorce papers stated 1/2 of the pension at time of his retirement. My ex retired with 31 yrs and out. Definitely it was voluntary as he is only 51 yrs old. Now, it is going on 2 yrs and it seems that my ex and his attorney are standing on firm grounds that I am not entitled to his early retirement supplemental pension through Fidelity. I would love any feed back or comments that could help me in any possible way.
